Great customer service. My device was replaced and it works good.
I really like this portable battery
I really like this portable battery. It has two USB a ports and a USB c port. The battery can be charged through the USB c taking less time than the micro USB port which it also has to charge. I bought this to charge my Pixel 2 XL. It charges at rapid charge connected to the USB c port with the phones cable just like it's own wall charger. I also charged my work iPhone just fine. On the first use, after fully charging it, I was able to charge my Pixel 2 XL 3 times and my iPhone 5s twice as well as a Bose Qc 35. It will actually charge my pixel at rapid speed and the iPhone and the headphones at the same Time. I charge the battery with the wall charger that came with my pixel. It's an 18 watt. Make sure you use a higher wattage to help charge it a bit faster. It does take a number of hours to charge but it holds a lot. It also comes with a nice fabric holder. The seller has really good communications. They wanted to make sure it works as well as give some tips. They also offered a free 3 piece adapter kit and shipped it free. It's a $7 item sold separately. It will take time to see it's longevity but so far I am very happy with it.
Great battery and even greater customer support.
Great battery and fantastic customer service. For those who can't get the battery to charge, you might want to read the directions and their ad. This is a direct quote, "We recommend you charge when only one LED light is left. If the micro USB port cannot charge, please connect the Type-C port first in order to activate the micro USB input. We offer a free Type-C adapter if needed. Please reply to us with your current address so we can arrange the shipping for you". I fully charged mine upon receipt and because I didn't fully read the info, I ran the battery completely out. It didn't matter what I did, I could not charge using the micro-USB. I contacted RAV Power and they sent my the free Type-C adapter (and yes, it was free). I plugged the micro USB cable into the adapter, then into the Type-C port and badda-bing, the battery began charging. Once it got started, then the micro-USB port also worked to charge the battery. Charging a battery of this size can be like pushing a car. At first it's difficult or completely impossible, but once it starts moving, then it works. Before you scream about the battery not charging, get RAV Power to send you the adapter and see if that works. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that it will. EXTREMELY pleased with the customer support. HIGHLY recommended.
Flexible and Versatile!
Considering the capacity this power bank is surprisingly small. It can actually fit in your pocket! It is also well built and feels very rigid. I was easily able to charge 3 devices at once, but as the specs mention, the combined output for the USB Type-A ports was 3.4A, whereas on a single port it was much faster at 2.4A. The power bank did not get overly hot when in use. Instead of including two USB Type-A cables (one long and one short) it would have been nice to get one Type-A and one Type-C instead. However, I noticed the listing changed from the seller as now they state “We offer a free Type-C adapter if needed. Please reply to us with your current address so we can arrange the shipping for you” which is great to see. The dual input charging made charging this power bank a lot faster (around 9 hours). The ability to re-charge this power bank with a micro USB cable, or a USB Type-C, or both makes it very flexible.
You ever wanted a 22000 mah USB-C power bank? This is it. You want one with a couple of USB-A ports? This is also it. This thing will theoretically charge your Pixel 2 XL (3520 mah battery) 6.25 times according to my math degree. I have never checked this, but I know it will charge things often. I've charged a calculator, watch, phone, headphones, and myself (specious statement, at best). All jokes aside, this is a great power bank. So great, I bought one for myself after I bought the first one for my partner. Her phone would die at work with nowhere to charge it. Not anymore! Now we can Snapchat even more...or whatever you crazy kids do these days.
