The RAVPower charger has proven compatible with all my tablets, smart phones and other devices that we need a usb charger for. I like that it does not run off a "power-brick" and it is solidly constructed. the only thing that I cannot verify is the quick charge port as I have no quick charge devices (yet), of course the port works fine with normal device charging as well.

I tried multiple hub type of chargers similar to this before finding this one. It is a champ. I highly recommend it to anyone that is charging multiple devices regularly.

This is one of the best purchases I've made in a while. Its compact, charges quickly, charges efficiently, and it doesn't even get warm! Never fight over a charger again!

** Amazon Customer Questions & Answers **
The questions and answers below were created by Amazon customers, who are not affiliated or in any way officially connected with RAVPower. Please follow their advice at your own discretion.
1.What difference is there with the previous model? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: The new model has a port designed to work with the Qualcomm Quick Charge system. That port is colored green. The green port also works with 2 amp charging; not 1 amp. I have both models. They work great. They are the ones that I recommend to friends..
2.I purchased this last week with the dknight big magic box.. this item does not have quick charge for my s7 edge Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and it charges with Quick (Fast/Rapid) charge beautifully. The port light turns blue to show me it's working. Quick Charge does NOT engage on Samsung devices unless the battery had been depleted a set amount, typically below 80%. The problem is with your devices/setup and not the charger. Quick Charge is "buggy" on certain Samsung models. Contact Samsung for a diagnostic. .
3.My Pixel phone and laptop both recognize the power source as "low power". Is it possible the item is defective? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Make sure you are plugged into the green USB port by the light I just got a galaxy tab so and it also shows low power but lgv20 charges at high power from that port. I hope this helps.
4.This device doesnt seem to be compatible with asus zenfone 3 (zs550kl) in qc3.0 mode while the zenfone 2 ze551ml is. hardware/software bug? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: This unit's description on Amazon states that it has a Qualcomm qc (quick charge) 3.0 charge port. The Asus Zenfone 3 is supposed to be equipped with qc3.0 technology for quick charging. This Rav power charger should charge at its highest speed when the proper asus-provided charge cable is connected from the device to the quick charge port on the Rav power unit. In addition, as an FYI, Qualcomm quick charge technology is fully backward compatible from 3.0 to 2.0 or 1.0 devices. And even an older charger with, say qc2.0 technology should still be able to quick charge a qc3.0 device. The basic charging technology is the same. The 3.0 version is just more intelligent in it's efficiency. Also, any of the other "smart charge" ports on the Rav power unit should also charge the Zenfone 3, but just not quite as fast as the QC port. You just have to make sure the proper charge cord is used, preferably the cord provided with the specific device. .
5.Is this charger compatible with samsung galaxy tab A tablets, and LG cell phones? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I have not have any problems using this with my LG phone and other android or apple devices..
6.Will this work for a motorola droid z play? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I don't know...I only have apple products but it should work fine..
7.Anyone charged a Note 8 fast with this? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Yes it worked great for 2 yrs. now you have to keep changing ports to make it work, and then keep checking to see if it is still charging or if you need to move it to another port..
8.What is overcharging protection? Thanks Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Overcharging basically a charger that doesn't know when enough if enough. It continues to pack charge into the attached battery, eventually making it fail before it's time. I bought this charger because it is capable of "floating", meaning sensing a battery is 'Full' and stopping. It then keeps an eye on the battery, and as the charge fades, gives the battery a shot of charge to keep it at it's peak ready for you fully charged. .
9.Why is ravpower not on the qualcomm certified charger list for neither quick charge 3.0 nor 2.0? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I have no idea, but it does what they say it does. I haven’t had any problems charging my iPhone, Apple Watch, Amazon Fire Tablet or iPad..
10.how long is the power cord? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: 5 feet.
