1. Will this support a Macbook Pro 15 (2018) as well as charge it?
Yes, works to charge MBP 15” just fine.
2. Do the prongs fold into the body for travel?
Yes they do, and have no problem gripping the hotel outlets I’ve used them with.
3. Would this charge a Lenovo thinkpad?
If the laptop has USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 ports than it should. The power bricks for recent Thinkpads are 65 watts.
4. Does this require something else in addition to usb-c cable? doesn't seem to charge my son's 2015 15" MacBook pro even though blue charging light on.
Just make sure the cable you buy is capable of charging at at least 60 watts. I bought the Anker Powerline II USB-C to USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 Cable (3ft) with Power Delivery to go along with it. Its more than capable of handling any charging needs. The only down fall is that it's only available in 3ft. I'd say just make sure it's a 3.1 cable that you pair with it.
5. Can it charge my chuwi lapbook pro 14.1 n4100 8g / 256g ssd?
If your laptop uses USB-C to charge, this should work just fine.
