I purchased this for use with my Note 8. My phone has a fairly slim case and this battery seems to work very well. It charged quickly before the initial use and when my phone is charging on it (wirelessly) it charges faster than the plug in wireless charging pads that I have. This has a simple black finish that blends in well with my other electronic items and I appreciate the simplicity. What I also appreciate about this charger/battery backup is that it comes very nicely packaged, which makes for a nice experience when opening the box and would also make a great gift. You receive a storage bag, instructions and a charging cable as well as the main charger.

I bought this for my Samsung 8 works great. Loved dual charging features I can charge two phones at same time S8 wireless and my son iPhone 6 with USB plug. Most of the devices these days use more and more power and batteries are not quite keeping up with the demand this little charger is life saver. This is a must have for travel.

I have an iPhone X which has a great battery, but occasionally it does run low on long days where I have to use it a lot. I bought this this charger because I liked the size and concept of just being able to recharge my phone without needing any cables whatsoever (I charge the charger in my car and just throw it in my briefcase, without any cables, if I think it might be one of "those" days). I absolutely love this thing. It holds and gives plenty of charges, it charges quickly even wirelessly, and it's the exact same size as my iPhone X (it's thicker but the same dimensions as the face of the phone). As an added bonus, I can also plug in my iPad's charging cable to get a charge from it if I need to.

I have wireless quick chargers for my office, in my car, and in several spots throughout my house, but I was still carrying around a power brick that had to be tethered to my phone. Now, thanks to this brick, I can charge my phone without hunting around for a USB C cable. I've only had this for a few days but I've used it several time already. It comes with a storage pouch that has a handy pocket to keep a USB cord to charge the brick with. It's not as fast as charging as my Samsung desktop fast charger. My phone was at 75% and it said it would be fully charged on the brick in 53 mins versus 46 mins on my desktop charger and 39 plug into a wall charger. So to fully charge it on the brick it would take 20-30 mins longer. It also doesn't say fast charging on my Samsung Note 8 when I use the brick but it says fast charging when I use my wireless desktop charger. The product information says that if you use a 2.4A charger it will fully charge the brick in 5.5 hours. I haven't fully charged it yet so I don't know how accurate that time frame is. It only has one USB port but you can wireless charge one device and charge a 2nd device with a cable at the same time. Here's a helpful tip: make sure you press the power button before setting your phone on the brick or it won't charge your phone. I sat my phone on it and came back 20-30 minutes later only to find that my phone had less battery than when I started. I would definitely buy this again!

A: Yes mine shuts off.
5.Can you charge the unit wirelessly as well instead of using a micro usb cable? I would assume that it has the capability to take in charge wirelessly Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I don't think so. I tried placing the pack on a Qi charging plate and didn't see any response from the LEDs, which light up when the micro usb is plugged in..
6.How heavy is it? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: 250g or about 8oz.
7.Will this device wirelessly charge a Qi equipped 2017 iPad? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Works well on the iPhone X. What are you using for Qi? RAVPower says "all Qi-enabled and Qi receiver-equipped devices" This model produces a bit less than 2 full recharges of an iPhone X. We also have the other RAVPower wireless charger battery pack, which would be better suited to the iPad because it charges Qi at 10W and seems to hold more charge (it's also more expensive.) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079BSGPLG I've had great results from a variety of RAVPower devices and excellent support -- one of their battery packs was damaged at its USB-C connector and they replaced it at their expense, no questions. They also seem to be "real" about the total mAh in each unit ... I've put a tester on them and they really absorb (and produce) the rated capacity. .
8.does the phone have to physically be in contact to charge? Wondering why it's called wireless, if not. Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Yes the phone has to be physically in contact to charge. It's wireless because you don't have to plug in the phone to charge..
9.How do I charge it? I’ve left it over night and all I see is still one blue light Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: There are 4 blue lights on the bottom that light up as it charges. They fill up as it charges until all 4 are blue. You then use the button on the bottom to power it on for use..
10.Hi does this come with an plug so I can plug it in an electrical outlet to charge? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: It comes with a micro usb cable to charge it but you have to provide a power adapter or other USB port for charging.
