How do I know if this would start my Prius?
A: All I can tell you is, it did not start my Infiniti FX45. Good luck. I returned this item.

Could this power a cpap machine overnight?
A: I am no expert on CPAP machines, but it seems highly unlikely this would be useful for one. If you search online, there are discussions about battery-operated CPAP machines and using computer Uninterruptible Power Supplies with CPAP machines to keep the CPAP running during a short power outage (perhaps 30-120 minutes, depending on size). Depending on how much current the machine needs to draw, which may depend on the CPAP setting, a rather large battery would be needed, much larger than the batteries inside this unit.

Is the 15v wall charger duel voltage (110v & 220v)?
A: The wall charger lists the input voltage as 100-240V-50/60Hz...the wall charger plug itself is a standard 2 prong style north american plug.

can 2 of these be hooked up in series to make a 24 volt power source of an electric bike motor?
A: I believe, but really do not know, that the answer is "no". Basis - this has circuitry to protect itself and is most probably going to notice the other battery. But that's just my educated guess. Also note that this has enough power to jump start a car - but won't run one for long. Just not enough juice stored.

What kind of batteries inside that starter (IMR/NCR/whatever; protected/unprotected)? Are they user replaceable?
A: Appears to be lithium ion from the package. Not replaceable. Rechargeable. Came 97 or 98% charged.

I plan to leave in my car, away from direct sunlight. Worried summer heat inside cab could cause battery to start a fire. Could this be a concern?
A: That could be a concern depending on how hot the car gets. You can lessen the hazard by not keeping the battery fully charged and keeping it in a place that takes the heat longer to penetrate. Never ever use or charge the battery if its hot that will make it worse. I keep mine in my center console and it seems that in my car it takes longer for it to heat up in there. I think its doubled walled and sealed well like a cooler. But in my case my car is parked in a cool underground parking all night so the center console is cool to start with each day.

A: It came at 99%. I plugged it and let it charge over night. I've not let the battery run down yet.
