is it powerful enough to charge multiple cars on a single charge? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Like any battery based jump starters, it's going to depend on engine size, starter efficiency, etc. Starting a Duramax 6L diesel will affect it more than starting a 1L Geo Metro. This charger does have a status light scale that should help with the viability of multiple starts. The one I bought my parents, we've used it to jump start an old Bronco (400M engine) with a dead battery, outside in sub-freezing weather and then a 1000cc Kawasaki snow mobile without issue. Once the sled was started, it showed less than 50% on the led scale. You mileage will vary....

Capacity in mAh is 18.000, but how much it is in Wh (Watt-hours)? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I contacted Ravpower and they use 3.7V so 66.6Wh (which is well under the FAAs restriction of 100Wh max per external battery)

how long does it hold its charge before it needs to be recharged (never being used). Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I haven't had it for long, but I charged it once 2 months ago and it is still at the 80%-99% LED, so assuming even discharge at all levels, it seems to be 10 months. Best answer I can give right now.

What are the max. operating and storage temperatures? Also, how well does it jump-start a car? (Most reviewers seem to be charging phones.) Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I don't recall the storage/operating temperatures (and don't have the manual at hand at the moment), but the pack was able to jump start my V8 without issue. The pack attaches to the battery and may apply enough charge to start the car. If it doesn't there's a "boost" button on the cable. The boost button dumps the entirety of the pack's power into the battery for 30 seconds. This started my car with a completely dead battery.

I found it's charged in 10-20 minutes and discharged in 10 minutes as well. I cannot even charge my cell phone. Is there any other way to charge? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: This unit has worked great for me, takes about an hour to charge, and I can run LED light strips all evening through the 12v plug. I did purchase 2 other different types of these 15k-18k power units that wouldn't hold a charge and had to return them. I was going to give up until I tried this one. Glad I decided to try another.

600amp peak jump starter, is the cigarette lighter port fused or self resetting if overloaded ? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I will caution you about the reviews on this product page. I never bought one of these . I bought the RAV mini charger flashlight which is great, but somehow my review, and many others, were attributed to this jump starter. All the reviews on this jump starter seem to refer to the mini pocket RAV charger flashlight. So this jumpstarter's high rating may be false, and by some mistake or purpose the great reviews are moved from another product to this one. Please be advised.

After being fully charged, the unit has lost 25% of its charge sitting in the car 2 weeks. Do I have a defective unit? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I have just check my PowerAll jump starter 600 Peak amps, and found that my Jumpstart after sitting for 6 weeks unattended is at full power, all indicator lights are on.
