When you plug a phone into the battery, does it automatically start charging or do you have to push a button?
A: It will automatically start charging. If you press the button it will show you how much life is left in the power pack battery.

Fully charged how many times will this 7800 mAh charge an android phone?
A: My experience with 7800 mAh external chargers leads me to answer that you'll get 2.5-3 full charges for your Android phone.

A: Yes, the portable charger comes with usb and micro usb ports, depends on the model, you can plug your usb cord from the wall charger into this and it will charge normally

Does this work on Ipod 5th generation
A: It should, minimum power you'll need is 2.1 amps, this does more than enough at 2.4. You'll need the iPod cable which this doesn't come with.
