1. Does it support pass through charging? (Charging a device while being charged)?
For the time I was charging it yes I does. I did notice on the side with the USB ports did get a little warm and haven't done it since. I did this only for the duration of a single charge on my Galaxy Note Edge.
2. Does this device charge itself faster via the qc in (micro usb) or via the type c? or are they the same? has anyone compared?
I have received a replacement for my original battery I purchased in the spring. The new battery looks identical but came in different packaging. The new battery charges much faster than my original. Using a usb amp meter it tops out at just over 2 amps using type-c and takes about 10.5 hours to fully charge. This is about the same as the micro usb.
3. Does it have a power button to begin charging my phone after being plugged in to battery pack? Or, does it switch on/off automatically?
Once the phone or device is plugged into the battery pack it automatically starts charging. No On/Off button.
4. Is it safe to charge my phone from the device's USB output while the device is charging from the wall?
Yep, for sure. I do it all the time. Thats one of the cool features of this battery is you can charge from it while its taking a charge. Not all portable batterys allow this.
5. How long does the portable charger last on a full charge?
Once charged, it will hold its charge for quite a long time. It only significantly depletes when you use it to charge some other device. How many times you can charge a device totally depends on the battery capacity. The average cell phone holds 3,000 - 4,000 mAh, so you should be able to charge a completely dead cell phone 5 - 6 times.
6. is this product work in another country with 220 Watts electricity?
If you had a converter to use for the charger plug, I would imagine so. I would recommend going to the RAVPower website for answers. It is quite informative.
